OK, I know it has been a while since I last wrote, but believe me, we have been busy around here! I promised some of you that I would post the pictures and story of the "alien" bathroom remodel. I only wish I had some "before" pictures for you guys, because then you could see that anything we did would have to be an improvement.
We started this bathroom remodel right after spring break and completed it in a weekend (well, except for re-painting the ceiling and moldings white, which we still need to do). I saw a similar bathroom design in a magazine and decided to try to replicate it in our house. It looked so serene and spa-like. A word to the wise: Be Careful with color when selecting your shade based on something in a magazine. When we finished painting and saw what we had done, what looked serene and spa-like on the page looked like Shrek had exploded in our bathroom. It calmed down quite a bit when we added the espresso ladder shelving and the dark shower curtain, but WOW, does this bathroom wake you up in the morning (in a serene and spa-like way, or course) Enjoy!
