House Updates: It's Been TOO Long!

WOW!  I can't believe I haven't posted since 2009.  That is just...wow.  So, as you might imagine, much has changed around the house, but not in the ways that you might think.  Since I last posted we had a major remodel done.  The attached barn and garage were knocked down to make room for:

Grandma's Room and Bathroom
Laundry Room
Mud Room
Garage

The living room does now have a ceiling!



Madeline got a new Paris themed bedroom as a surprise when she went away one weekend with friends.  She was shocked and so happy.

We still don't have a kitchen island and are using a card table to store our dishes underneath.  Ugh!

The attic space is insulated and partially finished.  It needs paint, bookshelves and some decorating help.  I'll have a post about that when it's done.

We added a patio and fire pit in the back of the house that we absolutely LOVE!  It was tons, AND TONS, of work on a couple of HOT August days, but it was totally worth it.

Guess what?  The house that became red in 2009?  I think it might need painting again.
Shhh!  Don't tell David.
